Description:A Quality Assurance Analyst is needed to work in our dynamic fast growing Quality Assurance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed software testing of a complex transaction-based financial system application.  Additionally, as part of the Quality Assurance team, the candidate will provide client support by replicating, verifying and investigating client-reported defects.  New hire profile:Must be self-sufficient with automated and manual testing experience and able to understand detailed testing specifications. Must have high standards, be a committed team member, versatile with aptitude and interest in using new software tools. Tasks:• Using internal Help Desk application, work on assigned items in a timely, efficient and accurate manner• Where necessary, perform documentation updates to specific user manuals• Work with analysts and developers to create test cases, provide feedback on results and ensure the highest quality of product
Test Plan and Test Case creation
Attend business requirement walkthroughs
Work with business analysts and developers to investigate defects, provide feedback on results to clients in a professional manner
Technology Requirements: • Microsoft Word 2000, Microsoft Excel 2000• Familiarity with Windows-based applications• Familiarity with web-based applications• Testing Automation Tools - Ideally SILKTESTSkills: • Strong written and oral communication skills • Organizational skills

French an assetExperience:• 3-5 years experience as Quality Assurance Analyst• Experience in Canadian financial industry an asset• Experience in specifically financial dealer/broker or mutual fund manufacturing also an assetEducation:• Preferred University or College graduate in Computer Science.
