Skills/Qualifications:* 3+ years professional experience working as a Linux system administrator.* Expert hands on knowledge to deploy, configure, and maintain RedHat Enterprise/CentOS.* Expert hands on knowledge in scripting in BASH and PERL.* Expert hands on experience in software and OS troubleshooting skills.* Experience in high-availability environments.* System tuning and capacity planning activities geared towards meeting specified Service Levels* Willingness and ability to teach and train others.* A team player with good verbal and written communication skill.* 24x7 available for emergency escalations* Experience with Lighttpd, Apache, mySQL, and Java installation, configuration, performance tuning* Experience with monitoring software (Zenoss, etc)
Preference given to individuals with the following experience:* VmWare ESX* SAN Experience* Windows Server* IBM Server Hardware (Blade) * Networking (Cisco)* University degree or College Diploma in a related discipline and/or technical certifications.
